You shape your city.
An information campaign for the Participatory Budget that showed Varsovians their voice really does change the city.

Challenge
How do you create a visual that instantly reads as residents' real impact?
Our task was to create a visual that would catch the eye and clearly connect with the Participatory Budget – because it's residents, through their project proposals and votes, who have a real impact on Warsaw.
The campaign had to accompany all three stages of the Participatory Budget – submitting project proposals, voting for the best ones, and informing residents how to use the funds awarded in Warsaw. At the same time, the creative had to be versatile enough to fit different stages of the campaign and stay usable for several years to come.
Idea
City models, in residents' hands.
Combining models of Warsaw, real people and catchy slogans turned out to be the best way to communicate the Participatory Budget. Visuals built around recognisable Warsaw landmarks, strong calls to action and engaged residents came together into one consistent campaign.
The key visual was the final element of three workstreams running at the same time, which was a serious logistical challenge – in parallel, we worked on the graphic layout, a photo shoot with models and the design of the Warsaw city models, under tight, tender-driven deadlines.
Execution
To reach our goal, we built a set of varied formats: social media posts, offline advertising – citylights, metro boards, buses – and animated 2D placements, reaching residents of Warsaw at every stage of the campaign.
